SPORTSPOWER AI SELECTED FOR STARTUP COMPETITION IN MIT SLOAN SPORTS ANALYTICS CONFERENCE
The Sloan Sports Analytics Conference (SSAC), which will be held from March 3-4th, is one of the largest sport analytics conferences in the world.
SportsPower AI’s application for a presentation in the “Under 500k in Funding” group was selected after being evaluated by the conference’s team. The startup will have 12 minutes to make a presentation to the judging panel and answer questions in the 17th annual conference, held by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). The “Startup Competition and Trade Show” provides an opportunity for selected startups to showcase their innovations in the fields of sports-related technologies, products, and services. Those that are selected by the SSAC committee will have a chance to present their products and/or services to potential customers, business partners, investors, and employees.
SportsPower AI will talk about revolutionizing professional sports coaching and fans experience with the first Autonomous Real-Time AI Coach Assistant, created by the startup. The Artificial Intelligence Coach Assistant (AICA) is based in advanced analytics to answer virtually any question about the game in real-time. AICA also suggests substitutions, line-ups, and monitors every move of the match, revolutionizing the way the game is played.
Coaches and Fans aren’t the only ones that can benefit from this new technology. Media and Fantasy professionals, or anyone involved with professional sports, will gain from the natural language-based access to a massive amount of historical and real-time data, including several new teams and players performance indicators and unpublished tactical recommendations.
